How can I make an extra $500 per week?
In this guide, I will give you some tricks and methods you can use to make an extra $500 per week!. Yes, that’s right an extra $500 a week as a beginner and all have been used by many and proven to work.
These methods I have tested and have found them, the easiest ways for beginners to make money without any investment, no website needed and no followers or social accounts needed.
Without being ranked in any particular order and no waste of time let's get started!
1. Reviewing Products on Youtube.
Each and every other day new products are introduced and they generate interest over time especially as they launch. This means that you can use this to your advantage.
You can find existing products with huge to moderate interest each month if not weekly.
The easiest way to find out if the product you want to review has interest around it then you can use Google trends.
Type in the name of the product in Google trends and see if there is interest in the product on a weekly or monthly basis.
Some products are seasonal so you should keep that in mind.
Here is what I was able to achieve on Youtube within just four months!
Some of my videos on Youtube rank on Google for some strong and buyer intent keywords.
Youtube is a great way to rank on Google without a website. You simply need to optimize your videos for Google search using time stamps
If your video has stamps then the chances of it ending up on Google are higher than an average video with no timestamps.
Many small channels have grown using this strategy. Optimize for Google. If you have a keyword-rich Title and description then the rest Is up to Google to rank your video.
Embedding your video on sites like Quora and Reddit can help search engines discover it and then rank it for the appropriate keywords.
Search engines can tell what the video is about using the words near the video and the thumbnail itself.
So always have a keyword-rich thumbnail and not a click-baity one.
What materials can you use to make a Review video?
You are going to need some pieces of equipment and a quiet room with no distructions.
- A PC/laptop
- A phone (to record audio)
- A screen recording software (OBS is free for both PC and MAC)
- Free video Editor (Openshot, HItfilm Express all are good)
- Canva (For Thumbnails)
- VidIQ (For Keyword Research)
When doing keyword research for your review video you should always target review keywords with channels under 10K ranking for them in the top 10.
This allows you to effectively compete with them as you are in the same category of relatively small channels.
When creating your thumbnails. Ensure you don’t copy and paste the thumbnail of the competition but model or even make them better.
For engagement, Ensure you give the viewers a reason to watch your videos all the way through.
Aiming for a CTR of 7% or higher is the best way to show Youtube that your video is worth promoting.
This can be a bonus at the end of the video, a secret tactic on how to use whatever you are reviewing, or a discount or coupon code.
By doing this you will see better metrics with your watch time. For example, my average watch time ranges anywhere from 2:08–3:05 for videos under 10 minutes and this varies from time to time depending on your experience and relationship with the audience.
If video is not your thing, then great because you can go a different route and that is off-camera freelancing
2. Offering Your Services on Freelancing sites.
Fiverr is a Freelancing with great opportunity for many and so you can make an extra $500+ or more a week.
This means you are going to need a gig that you are good at and this gig can be a skill, talent, or any that you find easier to do.
Gigs like logo design are saturated but if you decide to offer a logo design gig, you can make yours unique from the rest by adding your logo to a specific canvas.
This can mean adding logos to
- street wall.
- Billboards
- moving trucks
- Airplanes
- Delivery vans.
All these are unique and this is what makes you stand out.
Other examples of these lo competition gigs can be;
- Website Chatbot creation.
- Email marketing with specific software.

- Word cloud art
and so much more. If you want an in-depth video with the best low competition Fiverr gigs to try out, enjoy it below.

How do you make a gig that stands out
Model successful gigs and add a catchy title.
Have keyword-rich titles and gig descriptions to make your gig searchable.
Promote your gig on Quora, Reddit, and social media to get some traction.
Always entice your first customers to leave a review. This helps you level up and get more exposure among other similar sellers.
Deliver quality and better work each time. This is important because the more you do this the better you will get repeat customers.
3. Writing on Medium.
Most people want to rank on Google but don’t like to buy a website or building backlinks.
About 68% of the total websites on the internet have no backlinks which indicates that people just don’t have the time to do outreach and build backlinks.
So this is where Medium, Blogger, and Google sites as Free blogging platforms come into play…

Writing on Medium is a great way to share your knowledge and ideas. Medium is great for those that don’t want to buy a website and are reluctant to building, designing and doing keyword research.
With Medium, I think of it as a Social site itself, where article writers like us share our ideas with readers like you.
This means you are not limited to what you can share on your profile so long as it complies with the medium publisher policies. Some profiles can event expand into multiple niches.
Medium SEO. It is really important. You should always optimize your content for external traffic. This is an easy way to get exposure and be readers to your content.
You should always update your Medium SEO settings for a better ranking and search engine traffic as well.
4. Creating Video Content.
Video is gaining popularity and this means you can use video to share your message in front of the right customers of course.
Here are some of the best video platforms you can use to voice your opinions and message.
- Youtube
- TikTok
These are the best video-sharing platforms you should be using if you are good with video.
In the present situation, you should be supplementing your content with video. People are lazy to read long-form articles or blogs but can sit to watch a video that is engaging.
Platforms like Instagram are less effective as they are highly competitive with limited space to grow as a new creator.
Final Quote
Making an extra $500 a week is easy if you chose the right strategy that gets you in front of your targeted buyers in 24–48 hours.
This means you have to really understand your customers what they are looking for and how best you can get in front of them.
The best customer is that one with a problem and you have a solution to their problem.
That’s it
Good luck! : )
